249 Securities taken under Act
(1) A person must give security, whether as principal or surety, either by
the deposit of an amount with the registrar, or by an oral or written
acknowledgment of the undertaking or condition by which, and of the
amount for which, the person is bound.
(2) Record of the security having been made may be provided by entry
of it in the court’s records.
