228 No summons or information
(1) This section applies to a conviction or order in a case if—
(a) a relevant person is present at the hearing of the case; and
(b) there is no summons or information (or an amendment of a
summons or information) in relation to the person; and
(c) the person does not object at the hearing about the matter
mentioned in paragraph (b).
(2) The conviction or order stands.
relevant person means—
(a) a convicted person; or
(b) a person against whom an order has been made; or
(c) a person whose goods have been condemned or ordered to be
sold as forfeited.
