225 Notice dispensed with
(1) The notice required by section 222 may be given either before or after
the habeas corpus order, certiorari order or other order is made.
(2) When at the time of applying for the order—
(a) copies of the conviction or order and depositions are produced;
or
(b) in cases of committal for trial or for sentence all informations,
depositions, and statements have been given, as provided in
section 106, to the director of public prosecutions or a person
authorised by the director of public prosecutions;
the Supreme Court may dispense with the notice.
