116F Procedure if notice of intention to defend given
If a defendant returns the notice of intention to defend form to the
registrar before the day when the defendant is required by the
summons to appear before the court—
(a) the court must fix a time and place for the hearing of the
(b) the registrar must give to the defendant notice of the time and
place fixed.
116FA Procedure if defendant pleads not guilty
If the defendant appears before the court at the time and place at
which the defendant is required by the summons to appear and pleads
not guilty, the court must adjourn the hearing, fix a time and place for
the hearing of the proceeding and inform the defendant of the time
and place fixed.
