10P Oath etc of office
(1) A person appointed as the Chief Magistrate, a magistrate or special
magistrate must not exercise the functions given to a magistrate under
any territory law unless the person has sworn an oath or made an
affirmation in accordance with the form in schedule 1.
(2) The oath must be sworn or affirmation made before the Chief Justice.
