419 De-amalgamation proposals generally
> > (1) A council that submitted a de-amalgamation proposal to the Minister under the former section 218CC is taken to have complied with the requirement to consult under the Act, Schedule 10, clause 2(1)(a) in relation to the proposal.

> > (2) The written business case for the proposal submitted to the Minister under the former section 218CC is taken to be a written business case given to the Minister under the Act, section 218CD(1)(a).

> > (3) The council is taken to have requested that the Minister approve the holding of a de-amalgamation constitutional referendum about the proposal under the Act, section 218CD(1)(b).

> > (4) If the proposal was referred to the Boundaries Commission under the former section 218CC(2), the referral is taken to be a referral of the business case as required by the Act, section 218CD(2).
