#### 397G Transaction of business by telephone etc 397G Transaction of business by telephone etc > > (1) The board of a joint organisation may, if it thinks fit, transact any of its business at a meeting at which representatives (or some representatives) participate by telephone or other electronic means, but only if any representative who speaks on a matter before the meeting can be heard by the other representatives. > > > (2) For the purposes of a meeting held in accordance with this section, the chairperson and each other representative on the board have the same voting rights as they have at an ordinary meeting of the board.
