#### 31 Compliance with standards 31 Compliance with standards > > (1) It is a condition of an approval referred to in item 4 of Part C of the Table to section 68 of the Act (Dispose of waste into a sewer of the council) that— > > > > > (a) the activity approved, and > > > > > (b) any building or work associated or carried out in connection with the activity, > > > > complies with any applicable standards established by any regulation in force under the Act or the [Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1979-203). > > > (2) It is a condition of an approval referred to in item 5 of Part C of the Table to section 68 of the Act (Install, construct or alter a waste treatment device or a human waste storage facility or a drain connected to any such device or facility) that— > > > > > (a) the activity approved, and > > > > > (b) any building or work associated or carried out in connection with the activity, > > > > complies with any applicable standards established by this Regulation or by or under the Act.
