#### 48 Breach of trust 48 Breach of trust > An action on a cause of action in respect of a breach of trust is not maintainable if brought after the expiration of the only or later to expire of such of the following periods of limitation as are applicable— > > > (a) a limitation period of six years running from the date on which the cause of action first accrues to the plaintiff or to a person through whom the plaintiff claims, and > > > (b) the limitation period for the cause of action fixed by or under any provision of this Act other than this section.
