#### 28 Accrual—dispossession or discontinuance 28 Accrual—dispossession or discontinuance > Where the plaintiff in an action on a cause of action to recover land or a person through whom the plaintiff claims— > > > (a) has been in possession of the land, and > > > (b) while entitled to the land, is dispossessed or discontinues his or her possession, > > the cause of action accrues on the date of dispossession or discontinuance.
