92A Lawyer to give notice of foreign regulatory action
and
(b) foreign regulatory action has been taken in relation to the
(c) the person fails to give the registrar written notice of the foreign
regulatory action in accordance with section 93 (1) (Provisions
applying to notices under div 2.5.3) not later than 7 days after
the day the person receives notice of the foreign regulatory
action.
(b) foreign regulatory action has been taken in relation to the person
to remove the person’s name from a foreign roll for disciplinary
reasons; and
written notice of the removal in accordance with section 93 (1)
not later than 7 days after the day the person receives notice of
the foreign regulatory action.
(3) Strict liability applies to subsection (1) (a) and subsection (2) (a).
foreign regulatory action taken in relation to a person means either
of the following:
(a) removal of the person’s name from a foreign roll for disciplinary
reasons;
(b) suspension or cancellation of, or refusal to renew, the person’s
right to engage in legal practice in a foreign country.
