74 Additional conditions on practice of interstate legal
(1) The relevant council may, by written notice to an interstate legal
practitioner engaged in legal practice in the ACT, impose any
condition on the practitioner’s practice that it may impose under this
Act on a local practising certificate.
(2) Also, an interstate legal practitioner’s right to engage in legal practice
in the ACT is subject to any condition imposed under the legal
(3) Conditions imposed under or mentioned in this section must not be
more onerous than conditions applying to local legal practitioners.
(4) A notice under this section must include an information notice about
the decision to impose a condition.
