626 Increases in maximum fines (1) An amendment made to this Act by the amending Act applies only in relation to a fine imposed on an Australian legal practitioner for conduct that happens, or is alleged to have happened, on or after the day the amending Act, part 9 commences. amending Act means the Justice and Community Safety Legislation Amendment Act 2026.
