586 Legal profession rules inconsistent with Act or regulation
(1) Legal profession rules do not have effect to the extent that they are
inconsistent with this Act, a regulation or rules made under the Court
Procedures Act 2004.
(2) Legal profession rules do not have effect to the extent that they are
inconsistent with a direction or guideline under the Director of Public
Prosecutions Act 1990, section 12 (Directions and guidelines by
director).
