543 Copies of seized things to be provided
(a) a person in charge of premises, or someone else who apparently
represents the person, is present at the premises while a search
warrant is executed; and
(b) the investigator seizes—
(i) a document, film, computer file or something else that can
be readily copied; or
(ii) a data storage device containing information that can be
readily copied.
(2) The person in charge or other person may ask the investigator to give
the person a copy of the thing or information.
(3) The investigator must give the person the copy as soon as practicable
after the seizure.
(4) However, the investigator is not required to give the copy if—
(a) the thing was seized under section 540 (Use of electronic
equipment at premises); or

(b) possession of the thing or information by a person in charge of
the premises or someone else would be an offence.
