529 Definitions—pt 6.3
connected—a thing is connected with an offence if—
(a) the offence has been committed in relation to it; or
(b) it will provide evidence of the commission of the offence; or
(c) it was used, is being used, or is intended to be used, to commit
the offence.
data includes—
(a) information in any form; and
(b) a program (or part of a program).
data storage device means a thing containing, or designed to contain,
data for use by a computer.
occupier, of premises, includes—
(a) a person believed, on reasonable grounds, to be an occupier of
the premises; and
(b) a person apparently in charge of the premises.
offence includes an offence that there are reasonable grounds for
believing has been, is being, or will be, committed.
person assisting, in relation to a search warrant, means a person who
has been authorised by an investigator to assist in executing the
search warrant means a warrant issued under division 6.3.3 (Search
warrants) that is in force.
