467 Duty of council to report suspected offences (1) This section applies if a council suspects on reasonable grounds, after investigation or otherwise, that a person has committed a serious (2) The council must— (a) report the suspected offence to the chief police officer or other appropriate prosecuting authority; and (b) make available to the chief police officer or authority the information and documents relevant to the suspected offence in its possession or under its control.
