46 Conditions on local practising certificates generally
(1) A local practising certificate is subject to—
(a) any conditions imposed by the relevant council under section 38
(Conditions on practising certificate—government lawyer and
in-house lawyer) or section 47 (Conditions imposed on local
practising certificate by relevant council); and
(b) any statutory conditions imposed under this Act or any other
(c) any conditions imposed or amended by a relevant council under
section 69 (Imposition of conditions on local practising
certificate pending criminal proceedings etc); and
(d) any conditions imposed under chapter 4 (Complaints and
discipline) or under provisions of a corresponding law that
correspond to chapter 4.
(2) If a condition is imposed, amended or revoked under this Act (other
than a statutory condition) during the currency of the local practising
certificate concerned, the certificate must be amended by the
licensing body, or a new certificate must be issued by the licensing
body, to reflect on its face the imposition, amendment or revocation.
