457 Request from another jurisdiction to investigate
complaint
(1) This section applies in relation to a request received by a council from
a corresponding authority to arrange for the investigation of any
aspect of a complaint being dealt with under a corresponding law.
(2) The council may conduct the investigation or authorise another entity
to conduct it.
(3) The provisions of this part relating to the investigation of a complaint
apply, with necessary changes, in relation to the investigation of the
relevant aspect of the complaint that is the subject of the request.
(4) The council or other entity must provide a report on the result of the
investigation to the corresponding authority.
