424 ACAT power to disregard procedural lapses
The ACAT may order that a failure by the relevant council to observe
a procedural requirement in relation to a complaint before an
application is made to the ACAT is to be disregarded if satisfied that
the parties to the hearing have not been prejudiced by the failure.
Note The ACAT may make rules about its practice and procedure under the
ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2008, s 24.
