360 Recommendations to law society council by
corresponding authorities etc
(1) If a corresponding authority makes recommendations about the
decision the law society council might make about a claim in relation
to which the corresponding authority was acting as agent of the
council, the council may—
(a) make its decision about the claim in accordance with the
recommendations, whether with or without further
consideration, investigation or inquiry; or
(b) disregard the recommendations.
(2) A corresponding authority cannot, as agent of the law society council,
make a decision about the claim under division 3.4.5 (Deciding
claims).
