356 Investigation of defaults to which pt 3.4 applies (1) This section applies if a default appears to be a default to which this part applies and to have— (a) happened solely in another jurisdiction; or (b) happened in more than 1 jurisdiction; or (c) happened in circumstances in which it cannot be decided precisely in which jurisdiction the default happened. (2) The law society council may request a corresponding authority or corresponding authorities to act as agent or agents for the council for the purpose of processing or investigating a claim about the default or aspects of the claim.
