29 Admissions board to advise on application for admission
(1) The role of the admissions board is to advise the Supreme Court
whether or not the admissions board considers—
(a) an applicant for admission to the legal profession is—
(i) eligible for admission; and
(ii) a fit and proper person to be admitted, including having
regard to all suitability matters in relation to the applicant
to the extent appropriate; and
(b) the application is in accordance with the admission rules.
(2) This section does not limit any other functions of the admissions
board under a territory law.
