192 Conditions on local registration generally
(1) Registration as a foreign lawyer under this Act is subject to—
(a) any conditions imposed by the relevant council; and
(b) any statutory conditions imposed by this Act or any other Act;
and
(c) any conditions imposed or amended by the ACAT under section
194 (Imposition and amendment of conditions on local
registration pending criminal proceedings); and
(d) any conditions imposed under chapter 4 (Complaints and
discipline) or under provisions of a corresponding law that
correspond to chapter 4.
(2) If a condition is imposed, amended or revoked under this Act (other
than a statutory condition) during the currency of a person’s
registration as a foreign lawyer, the registration certificate must be
amended by the relevant council, or a new registration certificate
must be issued by the relevant council, to reflect on its face the
imposition, amendment or revocation.
