154 Pt 2.7 does not apply to Australian legal practitioners or foreign lawyers engaged by government (1) This part does not apply to an Australian legal practitioner (including an Australian legal practitioner who is also an overseas-registered foreign lawyer). (2) Accordingly, this part does not require or allow an Australian legal practitioner (including an Australian legal practitioner who is also an overseas-registered foreign lawyer) to be registered as a foreign lawyer under this Act to practise foreign law in the ACT. (3) This part does not apply to an overseas-registered foreign lawyer who practices foreign law in the ACT as a public employee, a member of the Australian Public Service or a member of the defence force.
