(1) A corporation commits an offence if—
(a) the corporation ceases to engage in legal practice in the ACT as
an incorporated legal practice; and
(b) the corporation fails to give the law society council written
notice of that fact within the period prescribed by regulation
after the day it ceases to engage in legal practice in the ACT as
