sec.5 Meaning of legal assistance
Legal assistance is the giving of a legal service, including legal advice, free or on payment of an amount that is less than the cost of giving the service. The service may be given by a Legal Aid lawyer or Legal Aid service provider. s 5 amd 2013 No. 35 s 174 sch 1 (sec.5-ssec.1) Legal assistance is the giving of a legal service, including legal advice, free or on payment of an amount that is less than the cost of giving the service.
