356 Condition for suspension of payment of licence-fees rent etc. Every licence or perpetual lease of an agricultural or grazing allotment and every conditional purchase lease of land under this Act shall contain a condition that when the licensee or perpetual lessee of an agricultural allotment or a grazing allotment or the conditional purchase lessee of land not acquired or taken for the purposes of closer settlement is unable at any time to pay his licence-fees rents or instalments (as the case may be) as they become due the Minister may if the licensee or perpetual lessee or conditional purchase lessee has complied with the conditions of his licence or perpetual lease or conditional purchase lease suspend the payment of such licence-fees rents or instalments to such extent as will not exceed Sixty per centum of the value of the improvements effected on the land over and above any encumbrance thereon and allow him to pay the arrears of licence-fees rents or instalments and interest thereon in one amount or spread over a definite time and may extend the conditional purchase lease for a corresponding time.
