27 Appointment of land office and land officer There shall be one or more land officers and one or more land offices for the purpose of receiving applications in respect of Crown lands and payments on account thereof; and no such officer shall directly or indirectly become the licensee or lessee of any Crown land within the district to which he is appointed. No. 3709 s. 28.
