151H Assignment, mortgage etc. of lease (1) A lessee shall not— (a) during the first 5 years of the term of the lease; or (b) without the written consent of the Minister at any time after the expiration of the first 5 years of the term of the lease— transfer assign or mortgage the lease or sublet or part with the possession of the whole or any part of the land leased. (2) Notwithstanding anything in subsection (1) where a lessee dies or becomes bankrupt or being a company goes into liquidation his personal representatives or the trustee or assignee of his estate or the liquidator of the company may assign the lease to any person at any time with the written consent of the Minister.
