### 29 Request for statement of reasons > > (1)  If a person makes a decision to which this Part applies, a person who is entitled to make an application to the Court under [section 17](#GS17@EN) relating to the decision may request the person to provide a written statement relating to the decision. > > > (2)  The request must be made by written notice given to – > > > > > > (a) if the decision was made by the Governor-in-Council or by Cabinet, the Minister responsible for the administration of the enactment; or > > > > > > > (b) in any other case, the person who made the decision.
