87 Powers of Commissioner (1) In addition to the specific powers provided elsewhere under this Act or under any other Act, the Commissioner has the powers that are necessary and convenient for the performance of his or her functions under this Act and any other Act. (2) For: (a) dealing with a complaint; or (b) deciding whether or not to serve a compliance notice; or (c) conducting an audit under section 86(1)(e); the Commissioner: (d) is entitled to full and free access at all reasonable times to the records, or other things, of a public sector organisation; and (e) may require a public sector organisation to answer a question or to produce a record or other thing.
