136 Form of records (1) A public sector organisation must keep records created at any time after the commencement of this section in a form in which they are capable of being read and reproduced, which may be an electronic form. (2) A public sector organisation must take all reasonably practicable steps to keep records created before the commencement of this section in a form in which they are capable of being read and reproduced, which may be an electronic form. (3) A public sector organisation in possession or control of a record (whether its own or that of another public sector organisation) must ensure that it has access to the equipment and technology necessary to read and reproduce the record.
