149 Protection of legal practitioners and witnesses (1) An Australian legal practitioner representing a person at an examination or assisting the IBAC at an examination has the same protection and immunity as a legal practitioner has in representing a party in a proceeding in the Supreme Court. (2) A person appearing as a witness at an examination has the same protection and immunity as a witness has in a proceeding in the Supreme Court.
