112 Storage of firearms (1) The IBAC must ensure that a firearm acquired under an authorisation under this Part is stored— (a) in the case of a category A or B longarm, in accordance with clause 1(1) and (2) of Schedule 4 to the **Firearms Act 1996**; (b) in the case of a category C or D longarm or a general category handgun, in accordance with clause 2(1), (2) and (2A) of Schedule 4 to the **Firearms Act 1996**, as if the reference to the holder of the licence were a reference to a senior IBAC Officer authorised under section 109. (2) A senior IBAC Officer who is authorised under this Part to possess, carry or use a firearm, must ensure that the firearm is stored— (a) in the case of a category A or B longarm, in accordance with clause 1(1) and (2) of Schedule 4 to the **Firearms Act 1996**; (b) in the case of a category C or D longarm or a general category handgun, in accordance with clause 2(1), (2) and (2A) of Schedule 4 to the **Firearms Act 1996**, as if the reference to the holder of the licence were a reference to the senior IBAC Officer authorised under this Part.
