28 Method of calculation of EFTSL values – special cases

EFTSL values for domestic students studying with overseas higher education institutions (1) For the purposes of subsection 169-28(4) of the Act, EFTSL values for units of study undertaken by domestic students with an overseas higher education institution that will be counted as credit towards a course of study in which the student is enrolled at the Australian higher education provider, are to be calculated as set out in subsection (2). (2) The EFTSL value for a unit of study undertaken at an overseas higher education institution is equal to the EFTSL value which would be assigned to the same or equivalent unit of study if it were undertaken at the higher education provider providing the course of study in which the student is enrolled.
