#### 98V Citizenship/residency requirements For the purposes of this Chapter, a person meets the citizenship/residency requirements at a particular time if, at that time, the person is ordinarily resident in Australia and is: (a) an Australian citizen; or (b) a person who has been granted an approval to become an Australian citizen under section 24 of the Australian Citizenship Act 2007 and who has yet to make the pledge referred to in section 26 of that Act; or (c) a person who is a permanent resident.
