27DExpenditure on international marketing and promotion

#### 27D Expenditure on international marketing and promotion (1) The Minister may determine, in respect of a year, an amount that is to be available for expenditure by the Commonwealth on the international marketing and promotion of Australian education and training services. (2) The amount determined under subsection (1) in respect of a year must not exceed: (a) in the case of the year 1998—$1,016,000; and (b) in the case of the year 1999—$2,468,000; and (c) in the case of the year 2000—$3,883,000; and (d) in the case of the year 2001—$4,947,000; and (e) in the case of the year 2002—$5,285,000; and (f) in the case of the year 2003—$5,410,000; and (g) in the case of the year 2004—$5,537,000. (3) In this section: > Australian education and training services means education and training provided by institutions.
