#### 25 Grants in respect of drug and alcohol education in teaching hospitals (1) There is payable to an institution to which this section applies, for the purpose of financial assistance in relation to the review of, and research in connection with, the undergraduate medical curriculum of the institution in so far as it is concerned with matters relating to the abuse of alcohol and drugs, in respect of the year 1989 or the year 1990, such amount as the Minister determines. (2) The total of the amounts determined under subsection (1) in respect of a year shall not exceed: (a) in the case of the year 1989—$584,000; and (b) in the case of the year 1990—$618,000. (3) Financial assistance is granted to an institution under subsection (1) in respect of a year on the condition that: (a) the sum of the amounts spent by the institution for the purpose of the review and research referred to in subsection (1) in the institution in respect of that year; is not less than: (b) the sum of the amounts of financial assistance paid to the institution under subsection (1) in respect of that year.
