A drawbar-type coupling, or drawbar eye, used in a road train must— be a 50mm pin type; and have a D-value complying with AS 2213-1984 ‘50 mm Pin-Type Couplings and Drawbar Eyes for Trailers’; and be built to the dimensions mentioned in the standard; and not be worn away more than is recommended in the standard.

(a) be a 50mm pin type; and
