sec.21 Requirements for deciding application
The Regulator must decide an application made under section 19 as soon as practicable after receiving— for an application to cancel a PBS design approval or PBS vehicle approval—the application; or for an application to modify a PBS design approval or PBS vehicle approval—the PBS Review Panel’s advice and recommendations under section 20 . If the Regulator approves an application to modify a PBS design approval, the Regulator must give the applicant a replacement approval. A cancellation or modification approved under this section takes effect— when notice of the approval of the application is given to the applicant; or if a later time is stated in the approval, at the later time. If the Regulator refuses the application, the Regulator must give the applicant an information notice for the decision.
