3Objects of Act

3 Objects of Act The objects of this Act are— (a) to provide for privacy rights in relation to personal health information; and (b) to provide for the integrity of records containing personal health information; and (c) to provide for access to personal health information contained in health records; and (d) to provide for a consumer to receive an explanation of the consumer’s personal health information; and (e) to encourage agreement, concerning the exercise of a right or performance of an obligation under this Act, between the persons concerned.
