Commonwealth legislation
This instrument, commencing 1 April 2020, names three specific organisations as approved accreditors under the diagnostic imaging accreditation scheme established under the Health Insurance Act 1973. It affects diagnostic imaging practices and the named accrediting bodies by determining who is authorised to carry out accreditation (s6). It does not set accreditation standards itself; it operates by listing approved accreditors and by amending instruments specified in its Schedules (s5).
