> > (1) A professional council must not take any action under the [Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-86a) concerning a complaint while it is subject to investigation by the Commission or is being dealt with under Division 8 or 9.

> > (2) However, subsection (1) does not limit the powers of a professional council to take action under the [Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-86a), Part 8, Division 3, Subdivision 7.
