7 Specified development

7.1 Specified development

(1) The construction or installation of a farm building that is a grain silo or grain bunker is development specified for this schedule if it is—

(a) not used for habitable purposes, and

(b) used for the storage of grain that has been produced on the landholding, and

(c) constructed or installed on land in Zone RU1, and

(d) complies with the standards in—

(i) for development for the purposes of grain silos—clauses 7.2 and 7.3, or

(ii) for development for the purposes of grain bunkers—clauses 7.2 and 7.4.

(2) Development specified in subclause (1) must not be constructed or installed—

(a) on or in a heritage item or a draft heritage item, or

(b) in an environmentally sensitive area, or

(c) on land shown on any relevant Procedures for Air Navigation Services—Aircraft Operations Map prepared by the operator of an aerodrome or airport operating within 2km of the proposed development, and for which a PANS-OPS surface is identified that may compromise the effective and on-going operation of the relevant aerodrome or airport.
