9 Special medical treatment
For the Act, section 33(1), definition of special treatment, paragraph (c), the following medical treatment is declared to be special treatment—
(a) treatment carried out for the purpose of terminating pregnancy,
(b) treatment in the nature of a vasectomy or tubal occlusion,
(c) treatment involving the use of an aversive stimulus including mechanical, chemical and physical stimuli.
