116 Exercise of power by administrator
An administrator must—
(a) take actions that the administrator considers necessary or desirable for—
(i) the payment of the debts and engagements of, and otherwise for the benefit of, the missing person; and
(ii) the maintenance and benefit of dependants of the missing person; and
(iii) the care and management of the property of the missing person; and
(b) act in accordance with the decision-making principles set out in section 9; and
(c) act as an advocate for the missing person; and
(d) act honestly, diligently and in good faith; and
(e) exercise reasonable skill and care; and
(f) not use the position for profit unless permitted under section 175 or otherwise authorised by law; and
(g) avoid acting if there is or may be a conflict of interest unless so authorised under this Act, by order of VCAT or otherwise by law; and
(h) not disclose confidential information gained as an administrator unless authorised to do so under the administration (missing person) order or by law.
