sec.8 Conversion report— Act , s 477
For section 477 (1) of the Act , a conversion report, relating to the conversion of a relevant GHG well into a water supply bore, must be in writing and state— on the first page, the following details— the particulars of former EPQ10, including, for example, that CTSCo was the holder of former EPQ10; the name used to identify the relevant GHG well before the conversion was completed; the name and water bore driller’s licence number of the licensed water bore driller who carried out the works for the conversion; the name of the author of the report; the name of the landowner for the water supply bore; the name of the person submitting the report on behalf of CTSCo; and the following information about the well before the conversion— spatial information showing the location of the well; the day on which a well completion report for the well was given to the chief executive; the total depth of the well, in metres; the position at the top and bottom, expressed as required under subsection (2) , and the thickness of any coal seam, natural underground reservoir or aquifer intersected by the well; the depth in metres of any perforations in the casing of the well; all surveys and measurements made in the well, including any detailed interpretation of a survey or measurement; and the following information about the bore after the conversion was completed— details of the casing and equipment installed in the bore for the purpose of the conversion, with diagrams showing the major dimensions and features of the casing and equipment; a full description of all equipment, including prescribed equipment, installed or retained in the bore, including, for example, the size and nature of the equipment and any features of the equipment that may cause a hazard to underground mining operations; aluminium, batteries, electronics the surveyed location of any prescribed equipment installed or retained in the bore; details of the cementing operations carried out for the purpose of the conversion, including, for example— the location and type of plugs installed; and the intervals covered by each plug installed; and the volume and type of cement used; and the volume of cement lost due to voids or permeable strata; and the methods used to address losses of cement; and the method, materials and volume of cement used to cement voids; for each requirement or standard that applied to the conversion under the water bore construction codes—how the conversion complies with the requirement or standard; other details of the activities carried out for the conversion, and an assessment of their possible impacts, that would help another person in making an assessment of potential risks to safe and efficient underground mining. For subsection (1) (b) (iv) , the position at the top and bottom of a coal seam, natural underground reservoir or aquifer, intersected by the relevant GHG well, must be expressed using— the total vertical depth in metres; and for a part of the well that was intentionally not drilled vertically—the horizontal plane. In this section— natural underground reservoir see the P&G Act , section 13 . prescribed equipment means— metal equipment other than casing; or other equipment that may create a hazard to underground mining operations. drilling equipment, geophysical logging tools (sec.8-ssec.1) For section 477 (1) of the Act , a conversion report, relating to the conversion of a relevant GHG well into a water supply bore, must be in writing and state— on the first page, the following details— the particulars of former EPQ10, including, for example, that CTSCo was the holder of former EPQ10; the name used to identify the relevant GHG well before the conversion was completed; the name and water bore driller’s licence number of the licensed water bore driller who carried out the works for the conversion; the name of the author of the report; the name of the landowner for the water supply bore; the name of the person submitting the report on behalf of CTSCo; and the following information about the well before the conversion— spatial information showing the location of the well; the day on which a well completion report for the well was given to the chief executive; the total depth of the well, in metres; the position at the top and bottom, expressed as required under subsection (2) , and the thickness of any coal seam, natural underground reservoir or aquifer intersected by the well; the depth in metres of any perforations in the casing of the well; all surveys and measurements made in the well, including any detailed interpretation of a survey or measurement; and the following information about the bore after the conversion was completed— details of the casing and equipment installed in the bore for the purpose of the conversion, with diagrams showing the major dimensions and features of the casing and equipment; a full description of all equipment, including prescribed equipment, installed or retained in the bore, including, for example, the size and nature of the equipment and any features of the equipment that may cause a hazard to underground mining operations; aluminium, batteries, electronics the surveyed location of any prescribed equipment installed or retained in the bore; details of the cementing operations carried out for the purpose of the conversion, including, for example— the location and type of plugs installed; and the intervals covered by each plug installed; and the volume and type of cement used; and the volume of cement lost due to voids or permeable strata; and the methods used to address losses of cement; and the method, materials and volume of cement used to cement voids; for each requirement or standard that applied to the conversion under the water bore construction codes—how the conversion complies with the requirement or standard; other details of the activities carried out for the conversion, and an assessment of their possible impacts, that would help another person in making an assessment of potential risks to safe and efficient underground mining.
