#### 33B Staff of Audit Office 33B Staff of Audit Office > > (1) The Auditor-General may appoint, as members of staff of the Audit Office, such persons as may be necessary to enable the Auditor-General to exercise the Auditor-General’s functions. > > > (2) Those persons are taken to be employed by the Government of New South Wales in the service of the Crown, except as provided by section 33E. > > > (3) Each person who is appointed as a member of staff of the Audit Office continues, subject to the provisions of this Division and the terms of the person’s appointment, to be employed in the Audit Office at the discretion of the Auditor-General. > > > (4) The provisions of the [Government Sector Employment Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-040) relating to the employment of Public Service employees do not apply to a member of staff of the Audit Office. > > **s 33B:** Ins 2004 No 91, Sch 1.27 \[2\].
