Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

These regulations set simple administrative rules for housing provided under the Government Employees’ Housing Act 1964. They let the Housing Authority require tenants to sign a tenancy agreement, prescribe the court warrant form to regain possession when a tenant won’t vacate, and adopt the statutory meaning of “metropolitan region.” They affect people living in Authority houses, the Authority itself and courts by standardising paperwork and the eviction procedure.
